Dahil walang holiday ceasefire, agresibong operasyon ng PNP vs CPP-NPA tuloy ngayong Kapaskuhan
Magpapatuloy ang paglulunsad ng agresibong operasyon ng Philippine National Police (PNP) laban sa New People’s Army.
Kasunod ito ng deklarasyon ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na walang mangyayaring holiday ceasefire sa CPP-NPA.
Sinabi ni PNP Chief, Police General Debold M. Sinas, ngayong holiday season mananatili ang aktibong law enforcement operations ng PNP.
Sa kabila nito, sinabi ni Sinas na bukas pa rin naman ang pambansang pulisya sa mga miiyembro ng CPP-NPA-NDF na handa nang magbalik-loob sa pamahalaan.
Ayon kay Sinas, handa ang PNP na asistihan ang mga miyembro ng rebeldeng grupo na nais nang sumuko at nais makapiling ang kanilang pamilya ngayong Christmas season.
“In the spirit of the season, the PNP will welcome and provide assistance to CPP-NPA members who will lay down their arms and come down from the hills to join their families for the traditional holiday. We understand where they are coming from and government is offering them this life-changing opportunity,” ayon kay Sinas.
