Poker chips sets at iba pang gamit sa pagsusugal nakumpiska ng Customs

Nakumpiska ng mga tauhan ng Bureau of Customs – NAIA ang 38 parcels na naglalaman ng 75 poker chip-sets at iba pang gambling paraphernalia,

Ayon sa Customs, walang karampatang permit mula sa Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) ang mga kargamento.

Kinumpiska ang mga ito dahil sa paglabag sa Section 119 (b) ng R.A. 10863 o ang Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (CMTA).

Itu-turnover ang mga nakumpiskang poker sets, dealer chips, at mga gambling paraphernalia sa Auction and Cargo Disposal Division para sa safe keeping habang nakabinbin ang seizure and forfeiture proceedings sa mga ito.
