Indonesia natanggap na ang unang shipment ng COVID-19 vaccine mula sa China

Dumating na sa Indonesia ang unang shipment ng COVID-19 vaccine na galing sa China.

Ayon kay President Joko Widodo, 1.2 million doses ng bakuna mula sa Sinovac Biotech ang natanggap ng Indonesia bilang paghahanda sa isasagawa nilang mass vaccination.

Sa Enero, tinatayang aabot sa 1.8 million doses pa ang darating.

Sasailalim pa sa evaluation ng food and drug agency ng Indonesia ang bakuna.

Pero ayon kay Widodo, habang ginagawa ang evaluation process ay magpapatuloy na ang preparasyon para sa mass vaccination sa kanilang mga mamamayan.

Simula noong Agosto ay nagsagawa na ang Indonesia ng trials para sa naturang bakuna ng China.
