CBCP naglabas ng guidelines para sa pagdaraos ng Simbang Gabi
Naglabas na ng guidelines ang Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) na susundin ng mga simbahan sa pagdaraos ng Simbang Gabi o Misa de Gallo.
Sa circular ng CBCP, magpapatupad ng social distancing, pagsusuot ng face masks at face shields sa mga idaraos na Simbang Gabi.
Magsisimula ang tradisyunal na Simbang Gabi sa December 16 at tatagal hanggang December 24.
Idinadaos ito ng alas 4:00 ng madaling araw at alas 6:00 ng gabi para sa anticipated mass.
Ayon sa CBCP, batay sa konsultasyon sa mga obispo at mga pari daragdagan ang schedule ng mga misa para mas marami ang makapagsimba lalo pa at iilan lamang ang maaring makapasok sa mga simbahan.
Hinimok din ng CBCP na ituloy ang pagsasagawa ng live streaming ng mga misa para maaring makadalo online ang mga hindi makakapunta ng personal sa simbahan.
Ayon kay CBCP President Davao Archbishop Romulo Valles, ang dawn Mass para sa Pasko ay pwede ring gawin ng umaga ng Dec. 25.
Dahil kailangang mahigpit na pairalin ang social distancing at bawal ang paghalik at paghawak, hindi isasagawa ang tradisyunal na paghalik sa imahe ng sanggol na si Jesus.
Sa halip sinabi ni Valles na na ang mga magsisimba ay hinihimok na magdala ng sariling imahe nila ng infant Jesus sa Christmas Masses.
“The celebration of Christmas may be different this year. We will not have the same frenzy and stressful preparations that we had before the pandemic. But we pray and help our faithful to see the heart and the essence of the season in the simple, sober, silent but strong and loving truth of the God who comes to us in Jesus’ incarnation,” ayon kay Valles.
