Archbishop Jose Advincula, isa nang Cardinal

Ganap nang Cardinal si Capiz Archbishop Jose Advincula.

Ito ay matapos pangunahan ni Pope Francis ang pag-elavate kay Archbishop Advincula sa College of Cardinals sa St Peter’s Basilica sa Vatican.

Ayon kay Fr. Emil Arbatin, spokesperson ng Archdiocese of Capiz, hindi nakapunta sa Vatican para sa seremonya si Archbishop Advincula dahil sa pandemya sa COVID-19.

Gayunman, nakadalo naman ang bagong cardinal sa seremonya sa pamamagitan ng online live video streaming.

Si Advincula ang ika-siyam na “prince of the Church” sa Pilipinas.
