Number coding sa Metro Manila, lifted sa Huwebes at Biyernes Santo
Inanunsyo na ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) na pansamantalang aalisin ang number coding scheme sa buong National Capital Region (NCR) sa Huwebes at Biyernes Santo, March 24-25, 2016.
Una naman nang inanunsyo ng MMDA ang pag-suspinde ng number coding sa mga provincial buses sa Miyerkules Santo, March 23, dahil sa inaasahang pag-dagsa ng mga tao na tutungo sa mga probinsya.
Ayon kay MMDA Chair Emerson Carlos, ito rin ay para matiyak na may sapat na masasakyan ang mga pasahero na gugunitain ang Semana Santa sa kani-kanilang mga lalawigan.
