Comelec: Walang voter registration sa Nov. 30 at Dec. 8

Nag-abiso ang Commission on Elections (Comelec) na sarado ang lahat ng kanilang tanggapan sa buong bansa sa November 30, 2020 at December 8, 2020.

Sinabi ng ahensya na alinsunod ito sa Presidential Proclamation no. 845.

Itinuturing kasi bilang holiday ang November 30 bilang paggunita ng Bonifacio Day habang sa December 8 naman ay special non-working holiday para sa Feast of the Immaculate Conception.

Dahil dito, walang voter registration sa nasabing mga petsa.

Sinabi pa ng Comelec na wala ring transaksyon sa kanilang main at field offices kabilang ang paglalabas ng voter’s certification.

Paalala naman ng ahensya, isinasagawa ang voter registration mula 8:00 ng umaga hanggang 3:00 ng hapon tuwing weekdays.

Mahigpit ding ipinatutupad ang minimum public health standards sa loob at labas ng Comelec offices.
