“Sputnik V” COVID-19 vaccine ng Russia, may 95% na effectivity rate

95 percent ang effectivity rate ng COVID-19 vaccine na nilikha ng Russia na “Sputnik V”.

Ang bakuna ay nagkakahalaga ng $10 kada dose ayon sa developer nito.

Pero libre itong ibibigay sa Russian citizens.

Sa joint statement ng health ministry ng Russia, state-run Gamaleya research center at Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) ang pagiging epektibo ng bakuna ay mula sa preliminary data 42 araw matapos maiturok ang unang dose nito.

Umabot sa 22,000 na volunteers ang nabakunahan para sa unang dose at mahigit 19,000 sa kanila ang tumanggap ng ikalawang dose.
