Kauna-unahang Children’s Congress sa Maynila, inilunsad
Inilunsad ng Manila City government ang kauna-unahang Children’s Congress sa lungsod, araw ng Sabado (November 21).
Isinagawa ang paglulunsad kasabay ng 2020 National Children’s Month na may temang “Sama-Samang Itaguyod ang Karapatan ng Bawat Bata sa Panahon ng Pandemya.”
Pinangunahan ang paglulunsad ng Manila Department of Social Welfare (MDSW), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG)-Manila Field Office at Manila Council for the Protection of Children (MCPC).
Tiniyak ni MDSW Director at MCPC Vice Chairperson Re Fugoso na patuloy na aalalayan ang mga karapatan at kapakanan ng bawat kabataan sa loob at labas ng lungsod lalo na sa panahon ng pandemya.
“We also firmly believe that providing social services to them and their families should be the way to go so as to ensure a better future for our country at large,” pahayag pa ni Fugoso.
