Sen. Bong Go umapela sa pagbawi ng deployment ban sa health workers

Umapela si Senator Christopher Go na magkaroon ng calibrated lifting ng ipinatutupad na deployment ban ng POEA sa medical and allied health professionals.

Katuwiran ng senador malaking tulong ito sa mga nurse na walang trabaho, na marami sa kanila ay mayroon ng aprubadong employment contracts ngunit hindi makaalis na dahil maipalabas ang kanilang visa dala ng pandemya.

“World-class po ang ating mga medical professionals. Kailangan ang serbisyo nila sa buong mundo. May sinumpaan sila sa kanilang trabaho na sumalba ng buhay kahit sinuman, kahit saan man,” sabi ni Go.

Maari naman magtakda ng limitasyon sa bilang ng mga nurse at medical workers na maaring makapag-trabaho na sa ibang bansa para din matiyak na sapat ang bilang ng mga medical and health workers sa bansa

Kasabay nito, nanawagan ang senador sa gobyerno na tiyakin na mabibigyan proteksyon ang kapakanan at karapatan ng OFWs.
