Mega quarantine facility sa Calamba, Laguna binuksan na

Binuksan na ang isa pang mega quarantine facility sa Calamba City, Laguna araw ng Sabado, November 14.

Pinangunahan ni Department of Public Works and Highways Secretary (DPWH) at Isolation Czar Mark Villar ang ceremomial blessing at pag-turnover ng Calabarzon Regional Government Center.

Ang naturang mega quarantine facility ay may 600 bed capacity.

Ayon kay Villar, sa 600 beds, 550 ang nakalaan para sa mga pasyenteng positibo sa COVID-19 at sa mga itinuturing na mild at asymptomatic patient.

Ang nalalabi namang 50 ay ilalaan sa medical frontliners na maitatalaga sa pasilidad.

Katuwang ng DPWH Task Force ang Regional Office 4A sa pagsasagawa ng Regional Government Center upang maging mega quarantine facility sa pamamagitan ng pagtatayo ng cubicles at nurse stations, quarters para sa healthcare workers, toilet at shower rooms para sa mga pasyente at paglalagay ng air-conditioning units.

Nai-turnover ang pasilidad kay Calamba City Mayor Justin Marc Chipeco.

Ito ang pinakamalaking “We Heal As One” quarantine facility ng Southern Tagalog Region para sa COVID-19 patients.
