90 percent ng imprastraktura sa Catanduanes winasak ng Super Typhoon Rolly

Batay sa partial assessment ng Philippine National Police (PNP) 90 porsyento ng imprastraktura sa lalawigan ng Catanduanes ang winasak ng Super Typhoon Rolly.

Si PNP chief Gen. Camilo Cascolan ay patungo ngayon sa Bicol para magsagawa ng damage assessment at personal na alamin ang sitwasyon doon.

Ayon kay PNP Deputy Chief for Operations LTt. General Cesar Binag, ipinag-utos din ni Cascolan ang pagpapadala ng karagdagang mga tauhan ng PNP sa Bicol Region para tumulong sa search and rescue operations at clearing operations.

Mayroong 100 pulis na galing Region 7 ang pupunta ng Region 5 at 100 din ang galing naman ng national headquarters.

Mayroon din kasing mga pulis sa Albay na naapektuhan ng bagyo at napinsala ang bahay, kaya kailangang tugunan muna ang kanilang pamilya.

Mayroon pang 17,000 pwersa ang PNP na naka-standby at maaring ideploy anumang oras kung kakailanganin.
