P48.1-M segment ng Lagawe-Lamut, Ifugao Bypass Road, tapos na
Nakumpleto na ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ang 1.55-kilometer portion ng isang bypass road project sa Ifugao Province.
Ayon kay DPWH Secretary Mark Villar, ang phase 1 na sakop ang P48.1-million road construction at improvement project sa Barangay Tungngod, Lagawe section ay natapos ng DPWH Ifugao 1st District Engineering Office.
Sa tulong nito, mapapaigsi na ang ruta sa pagitan ng munisipalidad ng Lagawe at Lamut.
Oras na makumpleto, makakatulong din ang bypass road project upang masuportahan ang agrikultura ng Ifugao sa pamamagitan ng mas ligtas at mabilis na ruta ng mga magsasaka sa bagsakan centers.
Maliban dito, sinabi pa ni Senior Undersecretary for Luzon Operations Rafael Yabut na magsisilbi rin ang Lagawe-Lamut Bypass Road bilang alternatibong ruta kapag may road closures sa Nueva Vizcaya-Ifugao-Mt. Province Road.
