Red Cross balik na sa pagsasagawa ng COVID-19 tests matapos magbayad ng partial ang PhilHealth

Itutuloy na muli ng Philippine Red Cross ang pagsasagawa ng PhilHealth-funded COVID-19 tests.

Ito ay makaraang magbayad na ng partial ang PhilHealth mula sa pagkakautang nito sa Red Cross.

Ayon kay Red Cross Chairman, Senator Richard Gordon, iniutos na niya ang pagbubukas ng mga laboratoryo ng Red Cross sa buong bansa para makapagsagawa muli ng COVID-19 tests na chargeable sa PhilHealth.

Martes (Oct. 27) ng gabi, nag-resume na ang PhilHealth-funded testing ng Red Cross sa NAIA.

Magugunitang umabot sa 6,000 overseas Filipinos ang naipon sa mga quarantine facilities dahil tumagal ang paglalabas ng resulta ng kanilang swab test.

Ito ay makaraang ihinto ng Red Cross ang pagsasagawa ng COVID-19 tests na chargeable sa PhilHealth dahilsa laki ng hindi nabayarang utang nito.

Kahapon sinabi ng PhilHealth na nagbayad na ito ng P500 milllion na partial payment sa Red Cross.
