Pinasinayaan ni Public Works Secretary Mark Villar ang bagong Estero de Sunog Apog Pumping Station sa Hermosa Street Gagalangin, Tondo sa Maynila.
Nabatid na ang pumping station ang magsisilbing disposal ng drainage basin.
May catchment area ito na 1.6 km2 at maximum storage volume na 36 thousand cubic meters o katumbas ng 17 Olympic-sized swimming pool.
Mayroong apat na flood gates ang pumping station at apat na unit ng electromechanical pumps at dalawang generator.
Aabot sa P774 milyon ang inilaang pondo para sa naturang proyekto.
