Good Financial Housekeeping recognition mula sa DILG nakuha ng lungsod ng Maynila sa unang pagkakataon

Makalipas ang 10 taon muling nakapasa ang lungsod ng Maynila sa “good financial housekeeping standards” ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

Ayon sa Manila Public Information Office, natanggap ng pamahalaang lungsod ang Good Financial Housekeeping recognition mula sa DILG sa unang pagkakataon.

Ngayon lamang nakakuha ng ganitong uri ng pagkilala ang lungsod mula nang simulan ng DILG ang pag-assess sa financial housekeeping efforts ng mga local government unit sa bansa.

Sa pahayag sinabi ni Manila Mayor Isko Moreno na nagpapakita lamang ito na napatunayan ng Manila City government ang pagiging “financially transparent” nito.

“Unang beses nating makuha ito sa buong kasaysayan ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Maynila. Last time, I already said that I will not tolerate a dismal performance from the City Government under my watch. We will always aim to do better for the Manileños,” ayon sa alkalde.

Tiniyak ni Moreno na patuloy na iingatan ng pamahalaang lokal ang pondo at patuloy na magbibigay ng serbisyo sa mga constituents.
