13th month pay dapat ibigay sa mga empleyado – Pimentel
Kailangang bayaran sa mga empleyado ang kanilang 13th month pay.
Pahayag ito ni Senator Koko Pimentel III kasunod ng pahayag ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) sa posibilidad na i-delay ang pagbabayad ng 13th month pay ng mga mangagawa.
Sinabi ni Pimentel na tinawag lang iyon na “13th month pay” pero ang nasabing bayarin ay bahagi talaga sweldo ng mga empleyado sa ilalim ng batas.
Dagdag pa ni Pimentel, kung hirap ang mga employer ngayong panahon ng pandemya ay ‘di hamak namang mas hirap ang mga mangaggawa.
“It is just called 13th month pay. Hence, it must be paid. Employees are “more distressed” compared to their “capital providing” employers,” ani Pimentel.
