Kasalanan ng Senado kung made-delay o maging reenacted ang 2021 budget ayon kay House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano

Iginiit ni House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano na Walang ibang dapat sisisihin kundi ang Senado sakaling magkaroon ng delay o reenacted ang pambansang pondo sa susunod na taon.

Sabi ni Cayetano na sa kabila ng maagang pag-apruba ng Kamara sa P4.5-trillion proposed 2021 national budget noong Oktubre 6, na nagresulta sa maaga ring suspensyon ng kanilang plenary session, ay isang araw lamang ang magiging delay pagdating naman sa kanilang target date para sa third reading approval sa November 16.

Anya, “One day lang po ang diperensya and I hope that maging malinaw ito because kung magkakaroon po ng delay o reenactment, it will become because of the Senate not because of the House, because we are only taking about only one day.”

Pero ayon kay Cayetano, ginawa nila ang kanilang makakaya para maaprubahan kaagad ang panukalang pondo sa kabila nang isang buwan na delay sa submission ng ehekutibo ng 2021 National Expenditure Program.

Nauna ng sinabi ni Sen. Panfilo Lacson na “good as re-enacted” ang 2021 national budget dahil hindi naaprubahan ang panukalang pambansang pondo para sa susunod na taon sa ikatlo at huling pagbasa bago pa man nasuspinde ang sesyon ng Kamara noong Martes.

Dahil dito, malabo na aniya para matapos ng Senado ang kanilang budget, at maaprubahan naman ng Malacanang bago matapos ang taon.
