20 rainwater collection systems inilagay ng DPWH, DOH sa ilang paaralan sa Samar

Naglagay ang Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ng Rainwater Collection Systems (RWCS) sa iba’t ibang paaralan sa probinsya ng Samar.

Ayon kay DPWH Secretary Mark Villar, 20 units ng 4,000-liter tank ang inilagay sa mga paaralan sa bahagi ng Alamagro, Gandara, Sta. Margarita at Calbayog.

Magkatuwang sa P3.8-million project ang DPWH at Department of Health (DOH).

Sinabi ng kalihim na ang naturang proyekto ay bahagi ng hakbang ng kagawaran alinsunod sa Republic Act 6716.

Narito ang mga paaralan na nagbenepisyo sa rainwater collector project:

Almagro:
– Almagro Central Elementary School
– Malobago Elementary School
– Tonga-Tonga Elementary School
– Kirikiti Elementary School
– Magsaysay Elementary School
– San Isidro Elementary School
– Talahid Elementary School
– Imelda Elementary School
– Costa Rica Elementary School
– Lunang II Elementary School

Gandara:
– Tagnao Elementary School
– Casab-ahan Elementary School

Sta. Margarita:
– Sta. Margarita II Central Elementary School
– Palale Elementary School
– Solsogon Elementary School
– Clarencio Calagos Memorial School of Fisheries
– Burabod Elementary School

Calbayog City:
– Tinambacan Central Elementary School
– Malajog Integrated School
– Ba-ay Elementary School
