PAGASA, may binabantayang LPA sa loob ng bansa

May isang binabantayang low pressure area (LPA) ang PAGASA sa loob ng Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Ayon kay PAGASA weather specialist Chris Perez, huling namataan ang LPA sa layong 965 kilometers Silangang bahagi ng Basco, Batanes dakong 3:00 ng hapon.

Ang trough o extension ng naturang LPA ay nagdudulot ng kaulapan sa ilang parte ng Northern Luzon.

Bunsod nito, makararanas ng maulap na papawirin na may kalat-kalat na buhos ng ulan sa Batanes, Babuyan Group of Islands, Cagayan at sa Isabela.

Maliban dito, may isa pang tinututukang LPA ang weather bureau sa labas ng teritoryo ng bansa.

Huli itong namataan sa layong 2,140 kilometers Silangan ng Southern Luzon bandang 3:00 ng hapon.

Wala pa aniyang direktang epekto ang naturang LPA sa anumang bahagi ng bansa.

Samantala, sa Kanlurang bahagi naman ng Southern Luzon at Visayas, umiiral pa rin ang Southwest Monsoon o Habagat.

Ngunit ani Perez, hindi naman aniya magdadala ng malalakas na pag-ulan ang Habagat.
