Konstruksyon ng pantalan sa Currimao, Ilocos Norte natapos na
Isangdaang porsyento nang natapos ang Port of Currimao sa Ilocos Norte.
Ayon sa Department of Transportation (DOTr), noon ay maikli at masikip ang pier ng Currimao kaya siksikan sa daungan ang mga barko.
Para masolusyunan ang mga ito, sinimulan ang pagpapalawig at pagpapaganda ng port noong Disyembre 2017.
Ayon kay Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) General Manager Jay Daniel Santiago isa ang Port of Currimao sa mga inihahanda ng PPA para sa Cruise Tourism.
Ngayong kumpleto na ang port project, handang-handa na ang pantalan tumanggap ng mga malalaking barko na magpapalakas ng turismo at ekonomiya ng lugar.
