Trough ng LPA, Habagat umiiral sa ilang bahagi ng bansa – PAGASA

May dalawang weather system na binabantayan ang PAGASA sa bansa.

Ayon kay PAGASA weather specialist Chris Perez, kabilang dito ang Southwest Monsoon o Habagat at trough ng isang low pressure area (LPA) na nasa labas ng Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Hindi naman na aniya malakas ang Southwest Monsoon kung kaya hindi gaano malakas ang dulot nitong pag-ulan sa ilang parte ng bansa.

Ani Perez, ang trough ng LPA ay namataan sa Silangang bahagi ng Northern Luzon.

Dahil dito, asahan aniyang makararanas ng maulap na kalangitan na may kasamang pag-ulan, pagkidlat, at pagkulog sa Batanes at Cagayan kasama ang Babuyan Group of Islands simula Miyerkules ng gabi, September 30, hanggang Huwebes, October 1.

Samantala, magiging mainit at maalinsangan ang panahon sa Metro Manila at nalalabing bahagi ng Luzon.

Ngunit, ani Perez, may tsansa pa rin ng pulo-pulong pag-ulan lalo na sa hapon at gabi.

Sa buong Visayas at Mindanao naman, magiging mainit din ang panahon maliban lamang sa isolated rainshowers o thunderstorms lalo na sa hapon at gabi.
