‘Budget impasse’ ibinabala kapag nagpalit ng House Speaker

Nagbabala si House Committee on Appropriations Vice Chairman Jonathan Sy-Alvarado sa pagkakaroon ng “budget impasse” o hindi pagkakasundo sa pambansang pondo sa oras na mapalitan bilang Speaker na si Taguig Rep. Alan Peter Cayetano.

Ayon kay Alvarado, base sa kanyang naging karanasan sa Kongreso ay hindi naging maganda ang resulta ng pagpapalit ng Speaker para sa gobyerno.

Nagkaroon aniya ng budget impasse noong 2019 matapos mapatalsik si dating Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez at pinalitan ni dating Pampanga Rep. Gloria Arroyo.

Magkagayunman, hindi pa rin tiyak ni Alvarado kung ano ang magiging epekto ng nalalapit na pagpapalit ng liderato ng Kamara sa pambansang pondo.

Iginiit din ng kongresista na hindi pa naman opisyal na inaanunsyo ang pagpapalit ng Speaker kaya hindi dapat ito pangunahan ng mga sources ng mga balita.
