MECQ sa Iloilo City inaprubahan ng IATF
Inaprubahan ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on Emerging Infectious Diseases ang hirit ng lokal na pamahalaan na maisailalim sa modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) ang Iloilo City.
Unang sinabi ni Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas na inirekomenda nilang maisailalim sa GCQ ang lungsod pero kalaunan, hiniling nila sa IATF na gawing MECQ na ang deklarasyon.
Kinumpirma naman ni presidential spokesman Harry Roque na simula ngayong araw, September 25 hanggang sa October 9 ay sasailalim sa MECQ ang lungsod batay sa inaprubahan ng IATF.
Hanggang kahapon, Sept. 24, ang Iloilo City ay mayroon nang 2,037 na COVID-19 cases.
Sa nasabing bilang, 895 ang aktibong kaso.
