Nominasyon ni Michael Braganza Peloton bilang Comelec commissioner, kinumpirma ng Palasyo
Kinumpirma ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang ang nominasyon ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte kay Michael Braganza Peloton bilang commissioner ng Commission on Elections (Comelec).
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, hangad ng Palasyo na maayos na magagampanan ni Peloton ang kanyang bagong tungkulin.
“We are confident that Mr. Peloton would serve the Commission with professionalism and integrity in the conduct of clean, credible, free, honest, orderly and modernized elections,” pahayag ni Roque.
“We congratulate Mr. Peloton and wish him all the best in his new assignment,” pahayag ni Roque.
Pupunan ni Peloton ang nabakanteng pwesto ni dating Comelec Commissioner Luis Tito Guia.
Si Peloton ay isang abogado at malawak ang kaalaman sa information technology.
