Ridership ng Libreng Sakay program ng DOTr para sa health workers, mahigit 1.6M na

Umabot na sa mahigit 1.6 million ang bilang ng health workers na naserbisyuhan ng “Libreng Sakay” program ng Department of Transportation (DOTr).

Sa datos ng kagawaran hanggang Sept. 18, nasa kabuuang 1,640,735 na health workers ang ridership ng programa.

Sa nasabing bilang, 489,094 ang total ridership sa National Capital Region-Greater Manila habang 1,151,641 naman sa iba pang rehiyon.

Samantala, sa datos naman ng Road Sector, umabot na sa 88 vehicle units ang naka-deploy para sa libreng sakay program hanggang Sept. 17.

Katuwang ng DOTr sa naturang programa ang Land Transportation Office (LTO) at Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).

Katuwang din ng DOTr sa programa ang oil companies tulad ng Phoenix Petroleum, CleanFuel, at Petron sa pagbibigay ng fuel subsidy sa transport companies na kasama sa programa.
