176,000 tablets, ipamamahagi ng QC LGU sa high school students

Ipamamahagi ng Quezon City government ang mahigit 170,000 na tablet sa mga pampublikong paaralam sa lungsod.

Pinangunahan ni Mayor Joy Belmonte ang ceremonial turn over ng 176,000 Samsung tablets na ilalaan para sa mga enrolled high school student.

Sa bawat tablet, mayroon nang nakapaloob na custom software at mga app na kakailanganin ng mga estudyante sa pag-aaral.

Ayon sa QC LGU, bahagi ito ng P2.9-billion supplemental budget na inaprubahan ng Quezon City Local School Board.

Kasama rin sa nasabing pondo ang pagbibigay ng allowance sa mga guro.

Maliban dito, kabilang din sa pondo ang pamamahagi ng learning kits tulad ng flash drives, modules at printed materials, at maging hygiene kits tulad ng sabon, alcohol, at iba pa.
