P14B na pondo ng DOTr ngayong 2020 inilaan sa COVID-19 response
Aabot sa P14 billion pondo ng Department of Transporation ngayong taon ang na-realign para sa COVID-19 response ng pamahalaan.
Sa pagdinig ng House Committee on Appropriations sa panukalang 2021 budget ng DOTr, tinanong ni Gabriela Rep. Arlene Brosas kung mula sa nasabing pondo ay mayroong napunta bilang pang ayuda sa mga manggagawa sa transportasyon.
Sabi ni Transport Sec. Arthur Tugade, ang Department of Budget and Management ang nagpasya kung saan dadalhin ang nasabing halaga.
Kabilang na anya dito ang Department of Social Welfare and Development at Department of Health.
Para anya sa mga ayuda sa mga driver nagsumite ng pangalan ang Land Transportation and Regulatory Board sa DSWD at sila rin ang namahagi sa mga benepisyaryo.
