Nasawi dahil sa heart failure ang dating first lady sa kaniyang bahay sa Los Angeles at nakatakdang ilibing sa tabi ng puntod ng kaniyang mister sa Ronald Reagan Presidential Library sa Simi Valley, California.

Si Nancy Reagan ay nagtrabaho din bilang stage actress at aktres sa pelikula at telebisyon. Katunayan, naka-kontrata siya noon sa MGM nang makilala niya ang dating presidente.

Nakagawa siya ng labingisang pelikula.

Ikinasal sila noong 1952 matapos makipagdiborsyo si Reagan sa unang asawa niya na si Jane Wyman.
