IRR ng Anti-Terror Law, malapit ng matapos

Posibleng matapos na sa susunod na mga linggo ang implementing rules and regulations ng Anti-Terror Law (ATL).

Sa pagdinig ng House committee on appropriations sa 2021 budget ng Office of the President, sinabi ni Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea na dalawang beses nang nagpulong ang Anti-Terror Council para talakayin ang mga magiging laman ng ATL.

Nilinaw naman ni Medialdea na hindi nila suportado ang red-tagging na isinasagawa laban sa mga opisyal ng pamahalaan.

Ito ay matapos na ungkatin ni Bayan Muna party-list Rep. Carlos Isagani Zarate ang pagbansag ni National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF ELCAC) spokesperson Undersecretary Lorraine Badoy laban sa kanilang mga kongresistang miyembro ng Makabayan bloc bilang mga terorista.

Iginiit ni Medialdea na dahil wala pang IRR para sa ATL, wala pang mga indibidwal o mga grupo ang proscribed bilang mga terorista sa ilalim ng naturang bagong batas.
