Sea and aerial search sa nawawalang barko sa Japan, ipagpapatuloy sa Martes

Walang natagpuang nakaligtas o bangkay ng crew member sa nawawalang Panamanian-flagged vessel sa Japan, ayon sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).

Sinabi ng kagawaran na ito ay base sa isinagawang operasyon ng Japanese Coast Guard, araw ng Lunes (September 7).

“An empty life raft on a sandy beach was found but there was no clue of any missing crew member,” ayon sa DFA.

Ipagpapatuloy naman ang full sea and aerial search ng Japanese Coast Guard sa araw ng Martes, September 8.

Samantala, nakumpirmang Filipino ang isang natagpuang bangkay noong September 4.

Sinabi ng DFA na nakausap na ang naiwang pamilya ng Filipino seafarer.

Tiniyak din ng DFA ang pagbibigay ng gobyerno ng suporta sa Filipino seafarers at kanilang pamilya.

Patuloy din ang pag-monitor ng POLO sa Japan sa mga otoridad sa Japan para malaman ang update sa operasyon.
