E-Governance gamot sa korapsyon, katiwalian ayon kay Sen. Go
Sinuportahan ni Senator Christopher Go ang ipinanukalang Internet Transactions Act sa kadahilanan na halos iisa ang layon nito sa ipinanukala niyang E-Governance Act of 2020.
Sa panukala ni Go, kinakailangan bumuo ang gobyerno ng ‘information, data, resource-sharing at communications network’ hanggang sa mga lokal na pamahalaan para mabawasan ang ‘red tape.’
Sa isinusulong naman na panukala ni Sens. Sherwin Gatchalian at Nancy Binay , hinihikayat ang pag-develop ng e-commerce para sa paglago ng ekonomiya at posibleng paglikha ng trabaho.
“It is my position that the Internet Transactions Act will complement the bill I filed, namely Senate Bill No. 1738, or the E-Governance Act of 2020, which mandates the government to establish an integrated, interconnected, and interoperable information and resource-sharing and communications network, which spans the entirety of the national and local government,” ayon sa senador.
Paliwanag pa nito, layon din ng kanyang panukala na magamit ang information and communication technologies para makapag-serbisyo sa publiko ang mga ahensiya ng gobyerno.
Sa Senate Bill No. 1738, itatayo ang Integrated Government Network para sa mga datos at impormasyon ng mga ahensiya.
