Walang Nuclear Weapon ang North Korea ship na dumaong sa Subic Bay Port–Coast Guard

Nuc WeaponMalinis sa nuclear weapons o anumang tinatawag na weapons of mass destruction (WMD) ang MV Jin Teng na isang cargo ship mula North Korea, na dumaong kahapon sa Subic Bay Port sa Olongapo, Zambales.

Ito ang lumabas sa isinagawang inspeksyon ng mga tauhan ni Deputy Philippine Coast Guard Commandant, Commander Athelo Ybañez, sa MV Jin Teng ng North Korea.

Ayon kay Commander Armand Balilo, tagapagsalita ng PCG, ang isinagawang security and safety inspection sa dumaong na MV Jin Teng ay alinsunod sa sanctions ng United Nations security council, laban sa isinagawang pagpapalipad ng missiles ng North Korea na bahagi ng nuclear program ng Pyongyang.

Bagaman walang natagpuang mga tinatawag na WMD, may ilan namang nakita ang PCG na safety violations ang North Korean vessel.

Kabilang na rito ang kawalan ng mga fire hose, mga sira at di na gumaganang emergency light bulb, air vent head at ilang electrical switch.

Ayon sa Coast Guard, hindi nila papayagang maglayag muli ang MV Jin Teng hangga’t hindi naisasaayos ng crew nito ang mga nasabing violations.
