Mga Pinoy sa UAE lumahok sa trial para sa bakuna kontra COVID-19
Mayroon mga Pinoy sa United Arab Emirates ang nakiisa sa trials para sa COVID-19 vaccine.
Ayon kay Philippine Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Hjayceelyn M. Quintana maraming Filipino nurses at volunteers ang nakiisa sa Phase III ng trials sa bakuna.
Kamakailan binisita ni Quintana ang Group 42 (G42) Healthcare station sa Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) kung saan nagpasalamat ito sa mga Pinoy na nakiisa sa trial.
Ipinakita naman ni Dr. Waleed Zaher, Chief Research Officer for Group 42, kay Quintana ang proseso para sa trial mula sa registration hanggang sa aktwal na pagbabakuna.
Simula noong July 2020 ay umabot na sa 15,000 ang naisailalim sa vaccine trials kasama ang mga volunteer na Pinoy.
Ang G42 ay mayroong 181 Filipino frontliners kabilang dito ang 180 nurses at isang doktor. /
