Hirit ng Palasyo, iwasan ang mga espekulasyon sa kalusugan ni Pangulong Duterte
Humihirit ang Palasyo ng Malakanyang sa mga kritiko na iwasan na ang mga espekulasyon sa lagay ng kalusugan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Pahayag ito ng Palasyo matapos kumalat ang ulat na nagtungo ng Singapore si Pangulong Duterte para magpagamot.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, maayos ang lagay ng kalusugan at nakita naman ito noong Lunes ng gabi nang magsagawa ng Talk to the Nation ukol sa sitwasyon ng COVID-19 sa bansa.
“I understand that many of our detractors are sad that the President is fine, but they’ll just have to wait until 2022 because the President is healthy and is in control. So I think you saw that, everyone saw that and I would like to see the President more often in fact if it’s possible,” pahayag ni Roque.
Ayon kay Roque, naaliw na lamang si Pangulong Duterte na marami ang naghahangad na magkasakit siya.
“Alam mo, seasoned public servant na itong si Presidente. He’s amused that so many people are wishing him ill, but he is confident that he still has the support of an overwhelming majority of our people,” pahayag ni Roque.
Wala aniyang rason para itago ng Pangulo ang pag-aabroad dahil tiyak na malalaman din ito ng taong bayan.
