353 na OFWs mula Jeddah, Saudi Arabia darating sa bansa ngayong araw

Nakatakdang dumating sa bansa ang 353 na mga Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) mula sa Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Ayon kay Consul General Edgar Badajos ng
Philippine Consular Office sa Jeddah, lulan ng chartered flight ng Philippine Airlines ang mga uuwing OFWs.

Ang 353 na OFWs ay pawang nawalan ng trabaho at na-stranded sa Jeddah dahil sa COVID-19 pandemic.

Kasama rin sa flight ang mga labi ng dalawang Pinoy na pumanaw dahil sa COVID-19.

Inaasahang Lunes (Aug. 17) ng hapon darating sa bansa ang flight.
