Gobyerno pinakikilos para sa pag-upgrade ng IT system ng PhilHealth

Hinimok ni Deputy Speaker at CIBAC Rep. Bro. Eddie Villanueva ang pamahalaan na kumilos para sa upgrade ng information technology (IT) system ng PhilHealth.

Ayon kay Bro. Eddie, mahalaga ang mahusay na IT system upang hindi na maulit ang mga katiwalian sa claims sa hinaharap.

Dapat din anyang ipaubaya sa PhilHealth Board of Directors o sa Procurement System ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM) ang procurement process para IT system.

Nababahala ang mambabatas na hanggat walang sistematikong reporma sa PhilHealth ay tiyak na malalantad sa pagnanakaw at korapsyon ang pera ng ahensya.

Kinakailangan na rin aniya ang agarang upgrade sa sistema ng PhilHealth upang hindi mapurnada ang ibang nakabinbin na payments at disbursements sa mga pasyenteng myembro nito.

Nauna ng natigil ang pagbili sa mga computers at laptops para sa IT system matapos ang sinasabing overpriced ng P734M ang ICT budget ng PhilHealth.
