Pagsasagawa ng clinical trial sa COVID-19 vaccine mula Russia, mamadaliin ng FDA
Mamadaliin ng Food and Drug Administration (FDA) ang pagsasagawa ng clinical trial sa bakuna na nalikha ng Russia kontra sa COVID-19.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, ang pahayag ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na maunang magpaturok ng bakuna ay kahalintulad na ng polisiya para gawin ng FDA ang lahat ng pamamaraan para mapakinabangan na ang bakuna.
“I think the FDA would have to go out of its way to fast track the clinical studies that are required and it can be done anyway ‘no. So you know, the words of the President constitutes actionable policy and it’s a signal also to our local FDA to do everything and anything it can to make sure that it can be administered to the President safely,” pahayag ni Roque.
Una rito, sinabi ng Pangulo na nakahanda siya na maging bahagi ng eksperimento sa bakuna ng Russia.
