Hindi na ‘business as usual’ ngayon ayon kay Sen. Imee Marcos

Hindi na ikinagulat ni Senator Imee Marcos kung nasa recession ngayon ang Pilipinas.

Puna ni Marcos ang tila pagpupumilit ng business and private sector na ibalik at ituloy ang kanilang operasyon tulad ng bago magkaroon ng COVID-19 crisis.

Ayon pa sa senadora hindi na ‘business as usual’ at dapat aniya ay marinig na rin mula sa economic planners ng gobyerno ang pagbabago sa kanilang mga prayoridad sa usapin ng budget.

Dapat aniya malinaw kung saan na mamumuhunan ang gobyerno sa post pandemic scenario at kung ano ang talagang plano para maibalik o makalikha ng mga bagong trabaho.

Sinabi ni Marcos na inilalagay lang niya ang kanyang sarili sa posisyon ng ordinaryong mamamayan na nagtatanong, humihingi at umaasa na may malinaw na plano ang gobyerno.

Diin nito dapat ang NEDA ay nagpa-plano na ng COVID 19 economy para sa unang hakbang ng pagpapasigla muli ng ekonomiya.
