Liquor ban, ipatutupad sa Quezon City kasabay ng pag-iral ng MECQ

Inanunsiyo ng Quezon City government na ipatutupad ang liquor ban sa lungsod.

Ito ay kasabay ng muling implemetasyon ng modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) sa Metro Manila at maging sa mga probinsya ng Laguna, Cavite, Rizal at Bulacan bunsod ng patuloy na pagtaas ng COVID-19 cases.

Base sa Executive Order no. 35, series of 2020 na pirmado ni Mayor Joy Belmonte, bawal ang pagbebenta o pag-distribute ng mga nakakalasing na inumin sa kasagsagan ng MECQ.

“The consumption of any alcoholic beverages shall only be allowed within private residences,” nakasaad pa sa EO.

Epektibo ang liquor ban mula August 4 hanggang 18, 2020 o kung hanggang kailan ianunsiyo ng gobyerno ang pag-aalis ng MECQ sa NCR.
