Malasakit Bus sa Cebu City, huling biyahe na sa August 3 – OPAV

Huling biyahe na ng Malasakit Bus sa Cebu City sa araw ng Lunes, August 3.

Ayon sa Office of the Presidential Assistant for the Visayas (OPAV), ito ay kasabay ng pagsailalim sa general community quarantine (GCQ) ng Cebu City simula August 1.

Simula noong March 19, libreng nagsasakay ang 10 hanggang 15 Malasakit bus units ng medical workers na apektado ng kakulangan ng transportasyon.

Nagsisimula ang biyahe nito bandang 5:30 ng umaga hanggang 11:30 ng gabi.

Umabot sa 80,000 ang ridership ng Malasakit bus sa halos limang buwang operasyon.

Sa bahagyang pagluwag ng quarantine restrictions, pinayagan ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) 7 ang ilang public transportations na makapag-operate na muli.

“The Office of the Presidential Assistant for the Visayas (OPAV) and the Cristina Lee Dino Foundation, who sponsored the free bus service, continuously salutes all healthcare workers, who have heroically continued to be the first line of defense against the pandemic,” pahayag pa nito.
