Rockfall event naitala sa Mt. Mayon

Nakapagtala ng rockfall event ang Phivolcs sa Bulkang Mayon sa nakalipas na 24 na oras.

Ayon sa volcano bulletin ng Phivolcs na inilabas ngayong Miyerkules (July 29) ng umaga, wala namang naitalang volcanic earthquake sa magdamag.

Nagbuga din ang Mayon ng kulay puting steam-laden plumes.

Noong July 23 ang sulfur dioxide na naitala sa bulkan ay umabot sa 222 tonnes per day ang average.

Kamakailan ibinaba ng Phivolcs sa Alert Level 1 ang alert status ng bulkan.

Sa kabila nito, patuloy ang paalala ng Phivolcs na bawal pa din ang papasok sa loob ng 6-kilometer radius Permanent Danger Zone ng bulkan.

May mga panganib pa rin kasi ng rockfalls, landslides, ash puffs at phreatic eruptions sa Mt. Mayon.
