Pangulong Duterte, may banat vs Drilon ukol sa umano’y pagdepensa sa pamilya Lopez
Inihayag ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na dinidepensahan ni Senador Franklin Drilon ang pamilya Lopez na may-ari ng ABS-CBN.
Sa ikalimang State of the Nation Address, binanatan ng Pangulo si Drilon dahil sa sinasabing hindi umano oligarch ang mga Lopez.
Pinupuna ng Pangulo ang banat ni Drilon na anti-dynasty system kung saan nasa pulitika rin ang kanyang mga anak na sina Davao City Mayor Sara Durerte, Davao Vice Mayor Sebastian Duterte at Davao Congressman Paolo Duterte.
“One of them is Senator Frank Drilon. In an interview, he arrogantly mentioned among others that oligarchs need not be rich. Then he linked the anti-dynasty system with oligarchy and the topic was my daughter and son. This happened after the Committee on Franchise voted 70-11 to deny the grant of franchise to ABS-CBN. Obviously, he was defending the Lopezes that they are not oligarchs,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
