WATCH: Driver ng bus na humagip sa mga concrete barrier sa EDSA humarap sa LTO

Nakaharap na ng mga opisyal ng Land Transportation Office (LTO) sa pangunguna ni LTO Executive Director Romeo Vera Cruz, kasama si Department of Transportation (DOTr) Assistant Secretary for Road Transport Steve Pastor, ang driver ng bus na nakuhanan sa video na humaharurot sa EDSA bus lane.

Base sa video na kuha noong July 17, nahagip ng Joanna Jesh Bus ang mga concrete barriers sa EDSA Busway sa tapat ng Camp Aguinaldo.

Ang nasabing mga barrier ay tumama pa sa mga sasakyang dumadaan sa tabi ng busway.

Una nang nagpalabas ng show cause order ang Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board sa operator at driver ng nasabing bus.

Nauna ng nagbigay ng direktiba si DOTr Secretary Arthur Tugade na patawan ng nararapat na parusa ang pasaway na driver dahil sa kawalan nito ng disiplina, at dahil sa paglalagay nito sa alanganin sa buhay ng mga pasahero nito, maging ng ibang mga road users.
