BREAKING: Bilang ng tinamaan ng COVID-19 sa Pilipinas, 74,390 na

Nadagdagan pa nang mahigit 2,000 ang bilang ng tinamaan ng Coronavirus Disease o COVID-19 sa Pilipinas.

Sa press briefing, sinabi ni Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire na sa huling datos ng Department of Health (DOH) bandang 4:00, Huwebes ng hapon (July 23), umabot na sa 74,390 ang confirmed cases ng nakakahawang sakit sa bansa.

Sa nasabing bilang, 48,136 ang aktibong kaso.

Sinabi ng kagawaran na 2,200 ang bagong napaulat na kaso ng COVID-19 sa bansa kung saan 1,314 ang “fresh cases” habang 886 ang “late cases.”

Nasa 28 ang napaulat na nasawi.

Dahil dito, umakyat na sa 1,871 ang COVID-19 related deaths sa bansa.

“Ang dahilan po kung bakit tila tumaas muli ang bilang ng mga reported deaths ay dahil ang mga reported deaths mula sa Region 7 na ngayon lang nai-report at naipasok sa ating system,” paliwanag ni Vergeire.

Ayon pa sa DOH, 760 naman ang gumaling pa sa bansa.

Dahil dito, umakyat na sa 24,383 ang total recoveries ng COVID-19 sa Pilipinas.
