Aabot sa 70,000 na COVID-19 contact tracers ang ipinakalat na ng pamahalaan sa iba’t ibang lugar.
Ayon kay Interior Secretary Eduardo Año, ito ay para tuntunin ang mga taong tinamaan ng COVID-19 o ang mga na-expose sa virus.
Ayon kay Año, tutulong ang mga contact tracer sa mga komunidad sa pag-monitor sa mga pasyente at sa kanilang mga nakasalamuha.
Una rito, sinabi ni Baguio City Mayor at Tracing Czar Benjamin Magalong na mga pulis at mga retired intelligence officer ang gagawing contact tracers.
