US lawmakers hindi dapat panghimasukan ang Anti-Terror Law ng Pilipinas ayon sa Malakanyang
Huwag na kayong manghimasok.
Mensahe ito ng Malakanyang sa mga mambabatas ng Estados Unidos na nanawagan para sa pagpapawalang bisa ng Anti-Terror Law.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, matagal nang independiyente ang bansang Pilipinas sa Amerika.
Mayroon aniyang working judicial system ang Pilipinas.
Ani Roque, anuman ang kwestyon sa legalidad ng Anti-Terror Law ay nasa Korte Suprema na ito.
“To the congressmen who signed it, we have a working judicial system and we can rely on our judicial system to rule on the constitutionality of the Anti-Terror Law,” ani Roque.
Aabot sa 45 American lawmakers ang lumagda sa liham na ipinadala kay Philippine Ambassador to the U.S. Jose Romualdez para ipanawagan ang pagpapawalang bisa sa Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020.
