313 na Coast Guard personnel nagpositibo sa COVID-19

Umabot na sa 313 na tauhan ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) ang nagpositibo sa COVID-19.

Ayon sa coast guard ang mga tinamaan ng sakit ay pawang nakatalaga sa strategic areas na kumakalinga sa mga returning overseas Filipinos (ROFs) a kanilang pamilya, gayundin sa mga locally stranded individuals (LSIs), kapwa frontline workers, at maritime stakeholders kabilang ang mga mangingisda, ship crew, at cargo truck drivers.

Inatasan na rin PCG Commandant, Vice Admiral George V. Ursabia Jr. ang PCG Task Force Bayanihan ROF na tiyaking nai-pull out na lahat sa kanilang assignment ang mga infected na coast guard personnel.

Tiniyak ni Usabia na mabibigyan sila ng medical assistance at iba pang resource support para sa mabilis na pag-recover sa sakit.

Ayon kay Ursabia, sa 313 na naapektuhang coast guard personnel, 83 sa kanila ang gumaling na at nag-negatibo na sa test.
