‘New normal’ online transactions dapat ikasa ng gobyerno ayon kay Sen. Go

Sinabi ni Senator Christopher Go na dapat ay ikakasa na ang Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) at iba pang ahensya ng gobyerno ang pagkakaoron ng e-governance systems.

Kasabay nito ang pagtitiyak na ang magiging bagong sistema ay magpapadali at mas magiging maayos bukod sa makakatugon sa pagbabago ng panahon.

“Sa panahon ngayon, lahat nagta-transition na to online — from e-governance, e-commerce, and also online learning. Importante na hindi po maiwan ang bansa pagdating sa transition to the digital age,” aniya.

Ngayon, dagdag pa ni Go, limitado ang kilos ng lahat dahil sa pandemiya kayat hamon ang pakikipag-transaksyon sa mga ahensiya ng gobyerno.

“Matagal nang hinaing ng ating mga kababayan ang lumang sistema ng kalakaran sa gobyerno. Simpleng permit o lisensya, ilang araw inaabot at kailangang pisikal na pumunta at pumila pa sa mga opisina ng gobyerno. Hindi na po pwede ‘yan ngayon,” katuwiran ng senador.

Bahagi ito, sabi pa ng senador, sa paghahanda hindi lang sa new normal kundi sa ‘better normal’ na pagbibigay serbisyo sa mamamayan.
