Walang Pinoy sa Australia na nagpositibo sa COVID-19 – Ph Ambassador

Walang Filipino sa Australia ang tinamaan ng COVID-19.

Ito ay kahit na nakapagtala ang Australia ng 8,800 na kaso ng COVID-19 kung saan 106 ang namatay.

Sa Laging Handa Public Briefing, sinabi ni Philippine Ambassador in Australia Ma. Hellen De La Vega na bunga ito ng pagiging maingat ng mga Filipino at pagtalima na rin sa mga inilatag na health protocols.

Ayon kay dela Vega, may mga Filipino sa Australia ang hindi muna pinayagang makauwi sa bansa dahil sa lockdown.

Pero may naka-schedule aniya na sweeper flight ang Philippine Airlines sa July 25 kung saan iuuwi sa bansa ang mga displaced OFW.

Isinailalim aniya muli sa stage 3 ang Victoria kung saan hinigpitan muna ang restriction dahil nagkaroon muli ng kaso ng COVID-19.
